After 17 years at Microsoft leading the channel business across Australia and New Zealand, I’ve developed a deep passion for supporting the channel. Over the past few months, I’ve been exploring how we can better serve our tech partners, and it became clear that there are countless experts who share this passion but lack a platform to scale their services. That’s why we created Channel Guru—a single, comprehensive community where we’ve curated best-of-breed services and offerings to help our members (tech partners) save time, reduce costs, and drive sustainable growth.

We won’t rest until we can support and serve more partners at both regional and global scale. We’re eager for our members—and future members—to share regular feedback so we can continue evolving and modernizing Channel Guru to meet their needs.

James is the longest tenured Coach/Consultant/Advisor specialising in the Technology Services Industry in the APAC region. Having been the first in the APAC region to be an operations consultant, opening the first MSP coaching firm, founding the Pax8 Academy and now being the first Fractional Chief Strategy Officer, he brings a unique level of experience and knowledge to help the industry elevate, owners to achieve better outcomes and develop the next generation of leaders.

He has had multiple experiences owning businesses, varying roles and leading initiatives that has led him to find his passion and ideal role, that of directly engaging with Partners to guide them on their business transformation journey through insights, direct advice, accountability and pragmatic actions.
